A story for a SMILE :)
This is an idea stemming from Drawing For A Smile and through it we hope to spread smiles to the farthest ends of the earth.
And how do we do that? You ask.
Well, like Drawing For A Smile, all you have to do is send in a request to our email at storyforasmile@gmail.com and we’ll mail you a postcard with a (really) short (but sweet/funny/ghastly…etc) story written about you and illustrated beautifully (or at least a step above mediocre) on the other side. We’re not charging for this. It’s absolutely free. All we want is to be able to brighten up your day, and at the same time, ours.
Tell us what you like, what your dreams are, your nightmares, your coffee-addiction, the name of your beloved pet, whatever, it will help in the conception of the story+art.
However, we would also like some feedback from you in the form of a photo of yourself holding/throwing/doing something crazy with the illustration/story (with a huge smile on your face of course), emailed to us. If you don’t feel like doing it because it might be cramping your style, we’re totally fine with it. (although our smiles will lose a watt or two)
Our ambitious team of two is made up of an easily excited, overly ambitious and sometimes a little ditzy writer and a well-composed, wildly imaginative artist who loves all things pretty. We don’t want to change the world, but we’ll do what we can to add a little color to it. :)
